Troops to Receive Electronic Valentine Visits
Ultimate Staffing Services uses staffing technology to send love messages to Iraq

Orange, CA - Troops in Iraq will receive virtual visits from their loved ones in e-mailed messages this Valentine's Day thanks to a revolutionary staffing technology at Ultimate Staffing Services, L.P. In 2004, the preeminent staffing services company introduced VideoSelect, which allows applicants to make a 3-minute video clip discussing their qualifications and then e-mail the clip to prospective hiring managers. The staffing company is inviting all of its employees, clients, and staffing associates who have loved ones serving in Iraq, to come in and use the proprietary interviewing technology to create a Valentine e-message.

Several local companies currently use VideoSelect to speed up the hiring process and eliminate the lengthy first interview. Most hiring managers know within minutes whether a candidate is suitable for the position, but will continue the interview until it fills the scheduled time. VideoSelect allows managers to "meet" candidates in short, video clips e-mailed directly to their inbox. These managers are now being invited to sit on the other end of the technology and create their own clip. The video can be e-mailed directly to their loved one serving overseas.
